What We Cannot Help With
We are an educational resource, not a treatment provider. There are important things we are not equipped to offer, and we want to be upfront about that so you can get the right help:
We cannot provide:
- Crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal thoughts, or severe withdrawal symptoms, please contact 988, SAMHSA (1-800-662-4357), or go to your nearest emergency room.
- Medical advice. We are not doctors. Our content is educational, not clinical. For medical questions about withdrawal, medications, or health concerns, please consult a healthcare provider.
- Professional counseling or therapy. We can point you toward resources for finding a therapist, but we cannot provide treatment ourselves.
- Legal advice. Cannabis laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. We cannot advise on legal matters related to cannabis use.
Where to go instead:
- SAMHSA Treatment Locator: findtreatment.gov — find treatment facilities near you
- Psychology Today Therapist Finder: psychologytoday.com/us/therapists — search by specialty
- Leaf411: leaf411.org / 844-LEAF411 — cannabis-trained registered nurses
- Our Crisis Resources page has a comprehensive list
Response Times
